Army chief General Syed Asim Munir on Thursday visited Gwadar, where he was briefed on the security of the mega project China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Bol News reported.
The Chief of Army Staff was also apprised about the current security situation, the operational readiness of the formation, and efforts to make the environment secure and peaceful.
On February 5, Army chief Asim Munir arrived in London to discuss strategic matters related to security, on the invitation of the UK Ministry of Defence, Bol News reported.
Asim Munir began his five-day tour to the UK on February 6. During his visit, important forces commanders were also accompanying him.
He also addressed the 5th joint UK-Pakistan Stability Conference in Walton Park held from February 5 to 8.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Army paid homage to the Kashmiri people on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day.
