The Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjarani urges Karachi’s businessmen to invest in Gwadar and expand their activities by setting up industrial export units in Gwadar and other cities of Balochistan.
Adressing the business community at KCCI, he speaks of Gwadar rapidly becoming a trading hub because development work in the port city has sped up. He further highlighted the continuous arrivals of Chinese investors to set up industrial units.
He further quotes that the water issues in the port city have now been resolved and desalination plants have been installed.
Sanate Sanjarani quotes “Gwadar, being the only city after Islamabad, is being developed under a master plan aimed at providing all basic facilities. Power supply in the town would be linked with national grid in this fiscal year while development work at Gwadar Port is at advanced stage followed by fast pace development in industrial area,”.
