The 7th China-South Asia Friendship Organizations conference was convened online and offline on December 22nd to encourage interchanges and coordination allying South Asian countries. Political delegates, governments, NGO spokespersons, and broadcasters from South Asian countries and China made attendance at the high-level conference and outstretched harmony on beneficial exchanges allying South Asian countries and China.
The convention was co-hosted by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) and the Organization for South Asian Regional Friendship and Cooperation with China (OSARFCC). A summation of 140 government delegates, government spokespersons, NGOs, and luminaries from 23 Chinese provinces and 6 South Asian countries attended the conference.
“Pakistan is committed to working with South Asian countries to achieve our common goals based on mutual respect, trust, and cooperation. We also sincerely acknowledge, appreciate and support China’s efforts and initiatives of promoting friendship and collaborative partnerships with the region,” Pakistani Ambassador Moin ul Haque, said at the conference to China.
He also brought up that South Asia, a compactly occupied region and habitation to one-third of the world population, also has its quota of these provocations. notwithstanding its low designate in human development and other socio-economic indicators, the region in terms of its historical significance, strategic location, immense resources, and enterprising spirit of its people holds a great word of honor to support the recommendation of customary development and win-win cooperation to usher in an era of tranquility and profitability for its people and neighboring countries and regions.
